Feed Fam pt.1

It's been a minute since we've released an actual collection. Actually almost a full year, since LA Wise Mind/Follow Your Heart.  This past year not only flew by, but actually taught me a lot.  It has been full of totally new experinces and getting accustomed to a different way of life.  So with that I present to you Feed Fam pt.1, a collection that releases March 31st.  This collection is the gateway to kind of what I've been going through as of lately, as the majority of our gear does.

However, Feed Fam is something that needs to be put out. I now feel its importance and purpose.  I've had this name stuck in my notes for a few years now [s/o to the homie Christian Lopez] and I finally feel like I found it's purpose.  Feed Fam stands for the importance in looking out for your family and friends.  To feed them spiritually, financially, and with complete open-mindedness.  Let them know you support them, let them know you got their back, let them know they stand for something, and your somebody they can always count on.  You have to understand that at some point everything comes to an end and that other then spirits, nothing lasts forever.  Live for peoples moments, be THERE in the moment, feed them that support they need.

This past January I visited my mom on her birthday, what was supposed to be refreshing and a time for us to create memories, I found myself reliving out memories of my childhood in the house I grew up in.  2 weeks before my plane had touched down in North Carolina, my mom had told me that the house had foreclosed on her and that she had only a few weeks to move out.  From there I knew that my whole vacation needed to be spent helping her.  Not going to front, this was literally one of the hardest things I've been through mentally.  I'd walk around the house and could just relive certain memories from my past as if I was watching them take place.  This shit broke me down several times throughout those 10 days.  Though this was hard for me, I know my mom was feeling it 10 times worse.

What was most meaningful to me during this time, was my family.  Everyone came together to help out, some at the same time, others at times they could.  I love my brothers and sisters for everything they've done over these past few months, and to my oldest brother, Grant, for giving my Mom a place to stay. Everyone fed family through spirits, through finances, and through love.  Thats the true definition of Feed Fam.  Take care of your friends, take care of your family.  "One day there will come a time where this is no more."

See you March 31st, Stay Wise
